c-marni-mutrux-meistrell.jpgMarni Mutrux Meistrell has nurtured her love for photography for over two decades, starting out as a photographer’s assistant in the pre-digital age. She went on to have a career in art, showing her oil paintings in Boston, Oregon and throughout California. In 2012, Marni became the woman behind Love and Duck Fat, a food blog dedicated to her love of healthy cooking and adventurous eating. Now based in Palmas Del Mar, Puerto Rico, Marni has returned to photography once again. She works with natural light exclusively, and does not use a flash or reflectors, capturing the magic of light in fleeting moments.

Marni is a full-time web marketer, wife, and mother… making her one busy woman! If you would like to work with Marni on your next photography project, please contact her.

Because I feel honored to be able to participate in the lives of my clients, my job is to capture the magic and joy of a moment in the most authentic way–unobtrusively, honestly, joyfully. Geared towards distinctive clientele, my approach delivers a combination of timeless elegance coupled with a contemporary, fresh style. I approach each session with a new perspective and fun attitude, knowing that time is precious and fleeting. Focusing on an editorial style of photography, I limit the number of posed and staged photographs, instead highlighting natural movement and light. My goal is to capture individuality, in an uncomplicated way.
